Drafting clothing patterns is an integral part of the designing process. But creating a perfect fit pattern can take lot of your time. I specialize in pattern making for Women’s wear, Plus size, Men’s wear, Activewear, Swimwear and Baby/Children’s wear. I can create custom fit patterns per your designs.

Create patterns in your style and size.

If you are having hard time shopping right clothes for you in the market, then why not design and sew up something for yourself! Based of your body measurements, I can help you create perfect fit patterns per your designs. You can also shop for some sloper patterns here.

Pattern making and grading for your clothing line

If you run a clothing line, or thinking to launch one. I can help you with pattern making and pattern grading* for your clothing collection.

*Pattern grading is the process of taking a finished base pattern and increase or decrease the proportions to make smaller or larger sizes.

Draft patterns for your clientele.

If you are a designer and have a customer base for made to measure orders. Then I can help you create custom fit patterns for Women's, Men's and Children's wear. I also specialize in Plus sizes. HOW IT WORKS

All the services are by the hour. And based on the project requirements, I can give you an estimate.

Pattern Making

You will receive:

Printable “Layered” PDF sewing pattern in A4/US letter print-at-home format and a large scale A0 copy-shop format. Seam allowances can be included per your requirements.
Style Guide with pattern cut info, technical sketches, trims/notion(details provided by client).
Fabric yardage.
Instructions for printing layered PDF sewing pattern assembling the pattern.
Finished garment measurements(Includes basic measurements like bust/chest, waist, hips, garment length, sleeve length, center front length)

Auto CAD format:

Digital patterns can also be provided in Autocad DXF format. Based on software compatibility, the pattern file may or may not work in other programs like Gerber, Optitex, Lectra etc.

Adobe Illustrator format- If you have Illustrator and would like to have pattern files in .ai format, please let me know, I can provide you .ai/.eps files.

Things required from you:

In order to proceed with pattern making or create a project estimate, here are few things I require from you:

All about the design- description, pictures of clothing would be helpful! Rough sketches showing the details. Please share all the details you can have on the design.
Size chart with basic measurements- Bust/chest, waist, hips and height.
Technical sketches would be helpful.
Fabric details like content, stretch type/percentage.

You can also provide physical samples (if any). As patterns will be drafted from scratch, it can take few pattern alterations to get to the required fit and style.

Pattern Grading

Price for pattern grading is per number of size in the size range. For e.g if a size chart is of range XS-S-M-L-XL, with Medium as a base size. Pattern making price(hourly rate) would apply for the base size. And for pattern grading for the other 4 sizes XS-S-L-XL would be (fixed price) each.
